Tom Margherita fell in love with Northern Michigan and the Petoskey area, like so many others, on a visit to the area with his young family and considers his family fortunate to have been able to raise their son here in Petoskey over the last 15+ years.  A Midwesterner to the core, having grown up in St. Louis, Missouri and as an alumnus of the University of Iowa, Tom understands the lure of Northern Michigan with its unique blend of Midwestern values, world-class resort living, and 4-season lifestyle.

Tom came to his career in real estate based on his passion for living spaces and the communities we call home. He has spent his career negotiating large and complex transactions for his clients, be it during his time as a Realtor or as an award-winning Account Executive in the telecommunications sector. His approach has been the same in both roles; "Treat every client as though they are your only client." Buying a home or vacation property is likely one of the largest financial decisions of one's life and Tom delivers a calm and confident process for his clients. Along with his wife, Jennifer, and his son, Evan, he enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and golfing, as well as travelling and supporting their favorite musicians and sports teams. Tom has spent most of his adult life volunteering as a youth sports coach and game official.
